Tabs or glue?

Tabs are quick and easy to take off, made for a week of wear. Glue is for the full wear time.

Find your perfect size

Lay each nail over your natural nail before applying glue. The right size should cover the nail from sidewall to sidewall without pressing into the skin.

Which way does the nail go?

The cuticle end is made thinner and softer so it sits more naturally against the nail. The front tip is slightly thicker for extra durability. You can also check the small size number — it sits near the front tip and should point toward the end of your nail.

How much glue is enough?

Apply a thin, even layer of glue to your natural nail and inside the nail tip. You want full coverage — not too little, not too much — then place the tip and gently press it down from cuticle to tip.

Adjust the curve for flatter nails

If the tip feels too curved, gently warm it with a hair dryer or hot water for a few seconds to soften the gel, then press the sides inward to create a flatter fit before applying.

Clean up any glue residue

Add a small drop of Nail Glue Remover to a cotton pad and gently wipe around the nail to remove any excess glue or sticky residue.

Apply adhesive tabs properly

Choose the tab that best fits your natural nail, place it flat and centred, then press it down firmly from the middle toward the edges. Smooth out any air pockets before peeling off the backing and applying the nail.

Adhesive tab hack for flatter nail beds

Layer a larger adhesive tab underneath with a smaller tab in the centre. This adds a little height through the middle, helping the press-on hug a flatter natural nail instead of bridging over it.

The perfect glue application

Prep and dry your natural nails, then apply a thin, even layer of glue to both your natural nail and the inside of the tip. Place the nail at a 45° angle from the cuticle, then slowly press down and hold firmly for 10–20 seconds.

How to avoid air bubbles

Apply glue evenly, then place the nail at a 45° angle from the cuticle and slowly press down toward the tip. Let the glue spread as you press so air can escape instead of getting trapped underneath.

How to fit adhesive tabs properly

If you’re between sizes, try rotating the tab to find the best fit — it doesn’t have to sit at the same angle every time. You can also trim the tab if needed so it fits neatly within your natural nail.

Keep hair from snagging

Make sure the cuticle edge sits flush against your natural nail with no raised gap. A smooth, sealed edge helps prevent hair from catching underneath.

Keep your application straight

Line the nail up with the centre of your finger before pressing down. Check both sidewalls as you apply so the tip sits straight, balanced and even.

Better fit for flatter nail beds

Our thicker Semi-Gel Glue helps bridge the gap between a flatter natural nail and the press-on, improving contact for a smoother, more secure application.

Application do’s & don’ts

A few small details make all the difference — prep thoroughly, choose the right size, use the right amount of glue, and apply slowly for the cleanest, longest-lasting fit.

Gentle removal with Nail Removal Oil

Gently lift one edge to create a small gap, then add a few drops of Nail Removal Oil. Wait 3–5 minutes for the adhesive to soften, then slowly work around the edges and remove. Never force or peel the nail off.
